Sanibonani! (Hello in Zulu)
To have lived and worked in South Africa a few times over the past 25 years has opened my eyes and showed me how privileged we are in our part of this beautiful world. Doing good in all possible ways in life is something I try to live up to and I know how easy it is to turn away, put actions aside for tomorrow or believe another will take the initiative. Today I can do good by offering some of my time and passion for cycling which I have been practicing as a hobby for all my life. A few days in the saddle will be an adventure but far less important than what your donation will enable these young kids to access and achieve! A few years ago, I climbed the Alpe d’Huez 6x in a day in order to collect funds for cancer research. It was such an incredible adventure on a personal level, within my family and the team which whom I participated with that I am very much looking forward to reliving some of these emotions. In this case, again for and with others, helping where I can, hoping to make a difference. Help me to do good and empower another human being, with the hope that they will reach their dreams and enjoy a better life. Looking forward to your donation, small or large, every bit helps!
Siyabonga! (Thank you in Zulu)
